An existing cycle parking facility was fitted with PV-powered charging infrastructure for e-bikes – including direct charging and centralised system control.

Three e-bike charging points complement the existing company bike scheme and enable staff to charge their bikes easily during working hours.
Self-sufficient e-bike charging infrastructure at the Bad Fallingbostel site
A grid-independent solution was implemented for Michelin, in which a photovoltaic system, battery storage and e-bike charging technology are integrated into a single system.

Planned and implemented together
The project was carried out in collaboration with AlKuTec Bovend GmbH and Elektro Huber GmbH from Landesbergen. The cycle parking facility, the electrical installation and the charging and storage technology were combined to form a joint infrastructure solution.
Charging infrastructure to complement staff mobility
At the Lachendorf site, staff can charge their e-bikes during working hours at three charging points. This infrastructure complements the company’s previously introduced JobRad scheme.
