The LiON Switch connects compatible PV modules to battery storage and the LiON Box X or LiON Box S to form a centralized solar power supply.

The solar energy generated is stored in the LiON Switch and supplied as a 230-V power source to the connected LiON Boxes. This creates up to four direct charging points, even at locations without a suitable grid connection.

The LiON Switch can power either two LiON Box X units or four LiON Box S units. Both configurations provide a total of four direct charging points and differ primarily in how they are distributed on-site.

LiON Switch in Practical Use

Self-Sufficient E-Bike Charging Infrastructure for Michelin

ONgineer , in collaboration with AlKuTec Bovend and Elektro Huber, installed a PV-powered e-bike charging station for the Michelin tire plant in Bad Fallingbostel.

LiON Switch units handle the central storage, control, and power supply for the connected charging stations. This made it possible to implement multiple charging points independently of the public power grid.

PV-Powered Energy Supply Solar energy is stored centrally and made available to the charging points.
Off-Grid Operation The charging infrastructure was implemented without a connection to the public power grid.
Remote Monitoring of the System Selected operating parameters can be monitored and analyzed remotely.
