Universal charging stations for e-bikes for companies, associations, cities, and municipalities
The expansion of a modern and sustainable e-mobility infrastructure is increasingly being supported by national and regional subsidy programs. Companies, municipalities, and institutions that invest in charging solutions for e-bikes, e-scooters, and other forms of micromobility can benefit from financial incentives.
The purchase of charging stations, parking solutions, and service stations not only contributes to sustainable mobility, but is also an economically sound decision. Subsidy programs help to reduce investment costs and increase the attractiveness of locations for employees, citizens, and visitors.
✔ Charging infrastructure for e-bikes, e-scooters, and other forms of e-mobility
✔ Off-grid solutions with photovoltaic integration
✔ Secure parking and storage systems for urban and commercial areas
✔ Service and repair stations to promote sustainable mobility concepts
There are numerous subsidy programs for charging and parking infrastructure in the field of e-mobility. Project title:
Construction of a modern bicycle parking facility with secure charging and locking options at the train station [name of location]
Project description:
The project aims to significantly improve the bicycle infrastructure in the immediate vicinity of the [name] train station. The plan is to install a covered and illuminated parking facility (LiON Stand) in combination with a collective locking system (LiON Box X). The collective locking system has lockers with standardized 230 V sockets, as specified in the municipal guidelines. This allows bicycle accessories (e.g., helmets, rain gear, batteries) to be stored securely and chargers to be connected as needed.
Implementation is carried out in accordance with DIN 79008-1 and the FGSV guidelines on bicycle parking. The systems used are vandal-proof, fire-safe, and can be easily used with different types of bicycles, including e-bikes.
Power supply:
A stand-alone PV system with storage (LiON Solar Kit) is planned for lighting and operating the access system. This will ensure a self-sufficient power supply for the parking facility in line with the eligible measures of the Bike+Ride initiative.
Project objectives:
Increasing the appeal of the station location by providing convenient and secure bicycle parking facilities.
Improving intermodal connections between bicycles and public transport.
Promoting sustainable mobility and reducing the proportion of cars in commuter traffic.
Provision of secure lockers with standardized charging ports for cyclists.
Eligibility:
The proposed measure comprises only eligible components in accordance with No. 4.2.5c of the municipal guideline:
Bicycle parking facilities with bike racks,
Canopy including lighting,
Collective locking system for 10 or more spaces,
Lockers with standard power outlets (230 V),
Off-grid PV system with storage for supplying the system technology.
All measures will be implemented within a radius of 100 meters from the station and will be available for at least five years for the specified purpose.
