htr hotelrevue, Switzerland’s leading trade magazine for the hospitality industry, published a feature article on e-bike charging infrastructure for hotels in its April 2026 issue. The article was produced in collaboration with our Swiss partner, A. Steffen AG of Frenkendorf.

According to the industry association Velosuisse, one out of every two bicycles sold in Switzerland is now an e-bike. This article examines the requirements for city and mountain hotels, off-grid solutions for remote locations, and the economic perspective: A battery charge costs about 20 rappen—an attractive value compared to the effort involved in using makeshift solutions or guests’ own chargers.
