KINZIG.VALLEY Venture GmbH has become a new investor in ONgineer GmbH. Claus Mündel (CEO) of ONgineer is delighted to welcome KINZIG.VALLEY Venture, represented by its managing directors Oliver and Jens Naumann, as shareholders following the latest round of funding.

KINZIG.VALLEY Venture GmbH is a promoter of innovative and sustainable ideas and is very much looking forward to its partnership with ONgineer GmbH. Seeing a vision take shape and grow together in a spirit of mutual respect – that is what the names KINZIG.VALLEY Venture and ONgineer stand for.

ONgineer, originally a service provider specialising in power electronics development, aims to conquer the market for e-bike and e-scooter charging infrastructure with its new business division, ONmobility. Using patented, highly efficient and inductive charging technologies ‘Made in Germany’, ONgineer aims to revolutionise the market, making it more sustainable, safer and significantly more user-friendly.

Of a universal Wallbox for e-bikes, The solutions range from the LiON Box to a self-sufficient, securely lockable and inductively charging platform for urban micro-mobility, known as Simple2juice. To finance the marketing and further development of this new business segment, ONgineer has now successfully completed its first round of funding.

A number of towns and local authorities have already enquired about pilot schemes to tackle the challenges posed by the scooter and bike-sharing fleets in their areas. Claus Mündel, Managing Director of ONgineer, welcomes the fact that the funding is now in place to pre-finance the first projects.
