At ONgineer in Espelkamp, we develop hardware and software for charging infrastructure for e-bikes and e-scooters. We are particularly keen to hear from people with an interest in Electrical Engineering and Software Development – but new opportunities are also constantly arising in other areas.
Developing, measuring and testing electronics, and gaining a genuine understanding of technical interrelationships: at ONgineer, you’ll be working on products where hardware and software come together directly.
Software is a key part of our technical development. If you enjoy programming, understand technical systems and don’t want to think of software in isolation from the hardware, we should get to know each other.
Theory is important. It becomes truly exciting when it leads to technology that actually works. That is why we regularly collaborate with students, combining academic knowledge with practical development projects.
Even behind good technology, strong organisation is essential. In business areas such as sales, marketing and administration, new opportunities are constantly arising for us.

Would you like to study electrical engineering whilst gaining practical experience at a development company? At ONgineer, during your work placements, you’ll contribute to real hardware and software projects and assist with measurements and tests carried out throughout the development process.
You’re interested in electronics and programming, you recognise technical interrelationships and want to understand how an idea is turned into a working product.
A completed technical qualification can be a good basis, but is not a prerequisite.
